Proof is an artist-run organisation with three main functions:
Facilities; providing technical support and production facilities. Initially set up as a print facility (digital and traditional) providing support and equipment to enable artists’ to publish their work in small limited editions or ‘multiples’ e.g. portfolios of prints, artists’ books and videos, work produced at Proof has been widely exhibited including at Book Works, Five Years and Limerick City Gallery of Art, as well as commercial galleries such as the Hardware, Jill George and Redfern in London
Multiples; a curatorial project dedicated to the exhibition, sale and distribution of artists’ multiples. (1998–2007)
Exhibit; curating and organising exhibitions using domestic and ‘non-gallery’ spaces. Shows included Motor Show, which featured work by Brian Catling and Hayley Newman and The Curtain, an installation by Young-in Hong. (2000–2002)
